Our partnership with the Orlando City Youth Soccer Network has produced numerous opportunities for our players to be identified, including:

  • The November 2018 MLS Generation Adidas Cup in Atlanta, GA
  • A club-hosted DA Jamboree in 2019 between Orlando City DA, Weston DA, and Azzurri Storm at North Collier Regional Park in Naples
  • Numerous friendlies between our senior teams and Orlando City MLS Next teams
  • ID events hosted by Orlando CityAcademy
  • Multiple training sessions run by Orlando City Soccer School’s technical staff and scouts at our home fields

How can my player get scouted for MLS Next through Azzurri Storm?

Azzurri Storm, as an Orlando City affiliate, has scouts regularly visit from the Orlando City Academy to observe our players. Players are also nominated by coaches to attend Orlando City Academy tryouts. Any player who wants to try out for an MLS Next Tier 1 team can do so with any Orlando

MLS NEXT PRO OPEN TRYOUTS

ProfessionalSoccerTryouts.com is the leading source for European professional soccer tryouts in the United States.  We provide MLS NEXT PRO OPEN TRYOUTS and connect you to the major leagues and clubs of European professional soccer.

Talented players with US or European citizenship age 18-23 are invited to apply to attend our professional soccer tryouts.  Prospective players should be already playing at the Division I college level or higher and have demonstrated the ability to play at the professional level.  Our MLS NEXT PRO OPEN TRYOUTS are highly rated.

This is a two phase process for MLS NEXT PRO OPEN TRYOUTS.  Players who we feel are good enough at our professional soccer tryouts will be asked to sign with our in-house sports agency and will be offered the chance to tryout with professional clubs in Europe.

Introduction – MLS Next is a premier youth soccer platform in the United States, launched in 2020 by Major League Soccer (MLS) to transform elite player development in the country. MLS Next serves as the first youth development league for aspiring professional soccer players and is closely tied to MLS clubs and independent elite academies.

Purpose and Mission – MLS Next aims to provide a clear, high-quality pathway for top youth soccer players to progress toward professional careers in MLS, U.S. national teams, and abroad. The platform emphasizes holistic player development, competitive excellence, and the integration of modern training methodologies.

Structure – MLS Next features competition across age groups, typically ranging from U13 to U19. The platform is divided into several regions to minimize travel burdens while maintaining a high level of rivalry. Participating teams include:

  • MLS academy teams (affiliated with MLS clubs)
  • Elite non-MLS academies that meet high developmental and operational standards
