Since its founding in Holland, MI in 2001, Lighthouse Title, Inc. has become a trusted title entity in dozens of real estate markets throughout Michigan and Wisconsin. As we expanded our reach into further communities, acquiring local agencies with deep roots in those communities, we recognized the importance of familiarity in building greater trust.

At the request of former agency owners, current team members and local clients, we welcomed many of these businesses under the Lighthouse Title Group umbrella while retaining the original business name. While we’re known as Lighthouse Title, Inc. in Holland, those in Escanaba, MI know us as Delta Abstract. In Rhinelander, WI, we go by the name Oneida Title.

Three innovative industry veterans joined forces in 2001 with the goal to provide personalized real estate title and closing services to all parties involved in a transaction. They brought their vision to life as Lighthouse Title Group in Holland, MI. Since then, our family-owned business has become a preferred title provider in over 60 communities throughout Michigan and Wisconsin.

Confidently Charting Courses with Real Estate Expertise

In April, Lighthouse Title was formed in Holland, MI. In the fall, expanded into the Grand Haven and Grand Rapids markets.

Client demand and need for a location between Grand Rapids, MI and Holland, MI prompted the establishment of our Grandville, MI location.

Acquisition of Keystone Title Agency in Grand Rapids, MI, merged the two Grand Rapids, MI locations. Additionally, Douglas, MI satellite closing location was added.

Acquisition of Lakeshore Land and Title Agency with office locations in Ludington, MI, and Manistee, MI. Our first venture began with a community bank based in Holland, MI.

Expanded into Newaygo County with the opening of our Fremont, MI Office. P

Is Teacher Next Door a "lead service"?

NO. Teacher Next Door is a "community based" home buying program. Our primary mission is to provide a tangible benefit to teachers and other local public servants that contribute greatly to the communities in which we live. We do not EVER sell leads. We do offer our Preferred Agents a proven method for building their business by marketing the Next Door Program brands and services in their local zip code.

Are Teacher Next Door buyers pre-approved?

YES. When buyers are assigned to our Agent Partners, they are completely pre-approved. Our preferred lender has already collected their documents and obtained a DU/GUS approval.

What is the difference between Basic and Preferred Agent Partner?

The three main differences between a Basic Agent Partner and a Preferred Partner are:

When you post, your title, first name, and last name will appear along with the name of your agency.
Click "Settings" in the left menu of your agency's homepage.
Click the Account tab at the top of the page.
Edit your name, title or email.
We encourage you to keep your first name if possible. However, you can also choose a more generic title like “Public Information Office” or “Communications Team.”
Click Save.
To change your password, click "Change Password," enter your current password, your new password, confirm your new password, then click "Save."
