Skyrim: Next-Gen gameplay is absolutely wild

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is a marvel of the industry, and even when it’s replaced by The Elder Scrolls VI, I’m sure it’ll still have its fans.

I believe that even more when I see things like a fan-made Skyrim remaster, using the latest and greatest mods to completely overhaul the game.

Take a look at a video by NextGen Dreams, for example, which boasts an impressive remake of Skyrim running at 4K with loads of mods installed. You can find the full modlist in the video’s description as well if you want to try and recreate it on your own PC.

Should go without saying but Xbox and PlayStation fans will unfortunately be unable to get their game looking this good as mod support just isn’t the same on console.

Nevertheless, it looks extraordinary, and the gameplay of the player’s Dragonborn taking a stroll through the various in-game locations almost makes it look like a completely different game. Also featured is gameplay of the player fighting things, which again looks incredible.

The comments wanted it to be pushed even further too, as one suggested “adding VR and the AI dialogue for NPCs in this equation”.

Skyrim is getting a next-gen upgrade exactly 10 years after its original release

Bethesda is also releasing another edition of the game on November 11th, which is aptly named the The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Anniversary Edition. This version includes everything in Special Edition, the three free pieces of Creation Club content, and “over 500 pieces of unique content from Creation Club,” including quests, weapons, and more. If you already own Special Edition or play the game on Xbox Game Pass, Bethesda will let you purchase an upgrade to Anniversary Edition, but it hasn’t detailed the price.

With the upcoming next-gen upgrade, Skyrim will have been ported across three entire console generations. Bethesda has also released a VR port and, perhaps most famously, a port for Amazon’s Alexa assistant called Skyrim: Very Special Edition.

Bethesda’s Treatment of Fallout 4 and Skyrim Next-Gen are Very Different

The next generation of gaming is here, and Bethesda is bringing its most popular titles Fallout 4andSkyrim to the new era. While Skyrim has had many re-releases over the years across multiple generations, next year will mark the first time Fallout 4has entered a new generation. Both titles will take advantage of the power of the new hardware and stretch their engines to the limit. However, Bethesda seems to be taking a very different approach when it comes to bringing these two titles to next-gen.

Next year, Fallout 4 will be receiving a next-gen update as part of the Fallout franchise's 25th anniversary. This update will come completely free to those who already own the game, and it will include a plethora of updates to entice players to return to the wasteland. Skyrim'snext-gen update came in the form of The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim Anniversary Edition, but Bethesda chose to charge people to experience Skyrim on new hardware instead of offering it for free to those who already owned it. These two approaches are in stark contrast to each other, and some players have been left wondering

Skyrim next-gen remaster proves we’ll be playing this game forever

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim may be fourteen years old but there is no denying that the Bethesda RPG is here to stay with fans still flocking to it to this day.

Cementing itself as a modern-day classic, it is no surprise that players fell head over heels with The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrimwhen it first released help in 2011, especially considering it is still the most recent entry in the series.

With Bethesda reportedly working on development for The Elder Scrolls VI, fans have been left feeling displeased with the lack of updates.

As a result, they are turning back to the land of Skyrim but with a twist, of course.

Skyrim has one of the most dedicated modding communities in gaming and it is because of them that the game has managed to wait relevant to this day.

For one user over on r/skyrim, their motto is, “Reject modernity. Mod Skyrim into next gen forever”.

This post was accompanied by a series of screenshots which shows an almost unrecognisable Skyrim as it is clear that this user has added quite a few mods to the classic ga

Will the next-gen would be a standalone like Skyrim Special Edition?
I would like that, cause I want to do again all achievements and it might give a new generation for moding like Skyrim Special Edition (even If the best mods were on the standard edition) but who knows.
